Returns, Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Because Steel Magnolias Bling sells individually identified, often limited and collectible jewellery, we do not operate an additional discretionary or goodwill returns scheme beyond the cancellation and return rights required by law.

Purchases should therefore be made carefully after reviewing the product description, photographs, ring size, collection and other relevant information.

Products are sold by reference to the specific description and images shown on the relevant listing.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Online Cancellation Rights

Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, you may notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days beginning the day after the goods are received, without giving a reason.

Please provide your name, order number and the item you wish to return.

Once cancellation has been notified, the goods must normally be returned within the following 14 days.

3. Condition of Returned Goods

Customers are entitled to inspect an item to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and appearance.

If an item has been worn, used, altered, damaged, marked, contaminated, resized, modified, mishandled or otherwise handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining it in a physical shop, Steel Magnolias Bling may make a lawful deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.

Jewellery should therefore be returned:

• Unworn
• Unaltered
• Undamaged
• Complete
• With accompanying packaging and accessories where supplied
• Securely packaged for transit

4. Hygiene-Sealed Products

Where a particular product is supplied with a hygiene seal and falls within a statutory hygiene-related exception to cancellation rights, this will be stated clearly where applicable.

Opening or breaking such a seal may affect the right to cancel where permitted by law.

This provision does not affect rights relating to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

5. Return Postage

Where a customer exercises a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the item unless Steel Magnolias Bling has agreed otherwise.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured postal service.

The customer remains responsible for the goods until they are received back by us.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, reasonable return arrangements will be made in accordance with the customer's statutory rights.

6. Refunds

Where a valid cancellation is made, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

For statutory cancellations, we will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or, if earlier, receive evidence that they have been sent back. The return-postage provisions above do not extend this deadline.

Where required, the original basic delivery charge will also be refunded.

Additional amounts paid for an enhanced, premium or expedited delivery method need not be refunded beyond the value of the standard delivery option where the law permits.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

The cancellation provisions above are separate from your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Goods supplied by Steel Magnolias Bling must meet the standards required by applicable UK consumer law.

We do not use the phrases “sold as seen”, “all sales final” or “no refunds” to exclude those legal rights.

Instead, each item is sold according to its specific listing, photographs and description, subject always to the consumer's statutory protections.

If there is a genuine problem with an order, please contact hello@steelmagnoliasbling.com as soon as possible after discovering it.

8. Ring Sizes and Customer Selection

Please check ring sizes, product dimensions, collection information and photographs carefully before ordering.

Ordering the wrong size or deciding that a style is not personally suitable does not make the product faulty.

Any statutory cancellation right that applies to an online purchase remains unaffected.
